Im getting married in 12 months and as a suprise for my other half Im gonna hire him sports car for the weekend of the Wedding. What type of Car should I hire and where from? Money isnt too much of an issue but obviously Im not a millionaire...lol

It depends...most guys are very particular about what brand of cars they prefer. Does he like foreign or domestic?? My fiance would flip if I rented him some sort of Ford Mustang Saleen. Other guys like Dodge Vipers...and still others prefer the Lambourghini. It all depends...

Just be careful- if he has never driven a sport car then maybe it's not the best idea. I just saw a thing on a talk show about all these grooms and couple who died on their wedding day due to renting these cars. You going to be drinking and if you not use to fancy sport car- it can be dangerous.
Sorry for being morbit but I was going to do the same thing until I saw this show.
Just something to think about.

call around to some rental agencies and see what stock they have or what they have access to.
we can't decide bcse we don't know what's available.

make sure you know if he can drive stick or not since most sports cars are known to be manual.

ask if he has any dream cars... or have his buddies fish for info for you.

then you can rent the car knowing he will like it and know how to drive w/o burning out the tranny
