It is not protected and won't let me add new work sheet pages?? Anyone else know why (some people in my office say it may be 'maxed out' Ie. contains too much info and functions), but it's only got 10 tabs and about a 150K file size so it's not HUGE?? Can anyone help? Thanks

you may have accidentally hidden the sheets. try going to format / sheet / and see whether there is anything to unhide.

I would think that your workbook has been protected. I doubt it is a virus as ther are very few that affect microsoft excel. To unprotect you workbook goto tools > protections > unprotect workbook. If it needs a password which you don't know then download from here a password recovery tool http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/Password_Management_Utilities/Excel_Password_Recovery_Key.html

Otherwise check that you have not got the maximum no. of workbooks, which i doubt 10 is barely any. If this does not work try unistalling excel and reinstalling it again.

Hope i have helped

I think your Workbook is protected, not your worksheet. Just try unprotecting the workbook. Goto TOOLS, then PROTECTION, then UNPROTECT WORKBOOK. Workbooks can be protected even without a password. I hope this will solve your problem.

Try looking in "help" and see if there is a maximum number of sheets you can have in a workbook.
