I'd suspect the muslims are closer to the truth. Jesus Christ are words invented by the Greeks.

The name "Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek ÎηÏοÏ
Ï (IÄsous), itself a Hellenization of the Hebrew ×××שע (Yehoshua) or Hebrew-Aramaic ×ש××¢ (Yeshua), meaning "YHWH rescues".

Mithras. Dionysus. Horus.
Take your pick.
Whether or not there was a real person named Jesus, Yeshua, or Esa, the modern conception of him is based on earlier pagan deities named Mithras, Dionysus, and Horus. Any real person has been completely forgotten by history.

Jesus is alive now, but when he was on the earth as a man he was called many thing- A liar, a blasphemer, every single horrible name you can imagine, particularly while they were nailing him to the cross.
He was called master, Lord, redeemer, rabbi and Jesus by those who believed and love him and who had faith he was our Lord and Savior!
He is my Lord, my darling, my savior and my father!
