Just stop smoking. really its not worth it there may come a day that you are going to need a blood transfusion.... would you want to sit and worry about whether or not that person was a heroin addict? If they will test for AIDS they will test for pot love. When it comes to blood donation that want it as clean as it can be. They won't even let you donate blood if you have ever had rheumatic fever, or with in a year of receiving a tattoo. Stop smoking pot, trust me... it will benifit you more to quite then to try to talk your way out of trouble if you get popped for a piss test at work

I very much doubt that you will be accepted as the blood results WILL show levels of the drug in your blood. The best way to give blood in your situation is to stop smoking dope and allow your body to cleanse itself through your liver. I'm glad that you are doing your bit socially and giving blood, and I do not question why or how you started smoking dope, but you should seriously consider consulting your GP as he or she will be able to help you stop if you are addicted. This will be beneficial not only for people who might receive your donation, but also for yourself as smoking dope for long periods (years) can easily lead to mental issues such as Schizophrenia, Separation Anxiety Disorder, and in some cases Tourette Disorder. Hope I helped!

Take this test and find out: http://www.blood.co.uk/pages/flash_questions.html

Although I think you might be able too, they only seem bothered about injecting drugs, I guess because of AIDS. I'd have a quiet word with the nurse, she won't judge you but its best to be on the safe side.

*goes retro* Drugs are baaad, mmm'kay?

No you can't give blood but I think that it's a bit silly.
A LOT of people smoke reefer so maybe the Gov. could make it so that when going in to hospital they ask if you would mind having blood from a smoker.
They are supposedly always needing more blood in hospitals and I think most people wouldn't mind having blood from a smoker if offered the choice.

That's the whole reason they do the blood screening. To make sure you don't have any blood conditions, and there are no drugs in your system. I wouldn't even try until you are clean.

When you answer the screening questions, you would be screened out and not allowed to donate.
