Is the Jewish God the same God as the Muslims?

after all, they both (Jewish and Muslim version of God) seem to have the same attributes.

The Muslim Allah is a violent deity.
The Jewish God and the Christian God profess to be gods of love, and their followers most often seem to reflect this.
(If Muslims want their religion to be one of peace, why don't they try to take it back? Do you think it's because they don't want it that badly?)

Any group that is monotheistic believes in the same God, even if they disagree on his nature.
