Yes, evolution is still going on in Human beings. I say this because evolution is an unending process. Now the evolution is more on the mental and psychic levels than physical. Yes nature is preparing a higher species out of us so as to sustain life and preserve its form and knowledge. This is so that we can in turn guide other worlds when they come into existence as we've been guided by unseen presence. Our evolution shall be said to be complete when we reach a state of existence as 'atman' totally independant of this physical form.
Just a thought!

Evolution is of the physical world. Yes it continues, but it takes its time and we probably won't see it in this lifetime. Spiritually we are already whole, complete and eternal now. There is no developing through time or way for evolution to work. Evolution seems to move species from the simple to the more complicated. Some interpret that as from lower to higher levels of being. I am not so sure. Levels of being is an idea born of a dualistic mind. All being is precious.

Yes ,Yes and Yes. Anyone can feel that with age we become more learned and wise. Similarly the next generation is smarter than us. This is evolution. From Human beings we are moving towards the super human beings. In all spheres of art , culture , sports , this is evident. However it is so subtle that the changes cannot be gauged in a time frame of ten/twenty years. However this is happening and if we measure each century , we realise how much we had progressed. The real progress can be seen on the Internet where the barriers of geographical differences are broken to find your cult of similar thinking people and creed. This gives you strength that you are not alone, your experience of truth is already felt by somebody else which gives conviction to your belief.

Evolution is unending process and has been going on since time immemorial to time beyond conception. It is a continuous cycle where there are no beginning and ending points. As at present we know from Vedas, there might be some time when the people were ignorant (moodha). After long time Vedas came up. There were some times after Vedas, when people left Vedas and behaved vehimently and He came to re.establish the systems properly again and again which call incarnation of God at different times. At present we can observe many talented children are shining all over the world who show their prowess in early childhodd and amaze society. This number is growing day by day which indicates many of the talented brains will come on the earth and will assist God to establish Satya Yuga again. Though out of ignorance we can not provide them proper ethical and Vedic education, some of them will find out their own ways to reach up to Vedic Knowledge. It is heard that many western countries have undertaken various researches on true knowledge of Vedas. Formal education of Sanskrit in all over the world is really a ray of hope of better prospectus of the world.

We cannot visualise evolution - it is a long process - even in the human beings the utilization of brain in increasing - man in the 5000 years back is not the same. it may take millions of years to be an another higher species. No one can predict nature's evolution and its performance.

Humans are capable of more compassion for creation than all but God Almighty. A human will raise the young of pretty much any living thing. There are people who allow spiders to live in their homes and help raise them to save the breed. I'll link you to the story. Because of this increased capacity for compassion, we have an increased capacity for cruelty. This is why a dog's snarl is so ugly. A dog will protect and raise a human child. Their capacity for mercy is immense. Thus, they tend to be the most cruel of nature's predators. They will taunt and toy with their prey more than any other being other than man. What will make it better? When Jesus Christ returns. All of creation moans for His return. This polluted and cruel world will be fixed once and for all by a merciful and just God.

Evolution is a continuous process. Sometimes it slows and sometimes it speeds up but it doesn't stop in a species until they go extinct.
It also doesn't produce "higher beings", this is the nonsense of religion. A species may become different but that's it.
It is also difficult to determine the point at which one species becomes another.

The natural evolution of humanity is currently being replaced by the artificial evolution of cyborgs.
Yes, you may laugh. After all, that's absurd. Or is it? Just look around you.
Dictionary.com defines a 'cyborg' as "a person whose physiological functioning is aided by or dependent upon a mechanical or electronic device."
The world is already filled with cyborgs. People who are hearing impaired get cochlear ear implants. People who have their legs amputated get robotic replacements. Hospitals the world over have people hooked up to dialysis machines and respirators to keep them alive. Computers and cell phones are used as artificial memories and communication devices and many people spend nearly all their time essentially hooked up to them.
The amazing thing is that most people seem to be horrified at the thought of becoming a cyborg, yet they don't recognize a cyborg when they see one or notice a change as they become one.
...
Marky, the human increase in height has been proven to be caused mainly by an improvement in our diet. Modern humans are taller on average because we eat better, not because we have evolved. Please stop using it as evidence of evolution. It is not. There is other legitimate proof of human evolution. We don't need to create false evidence for it.

Evolution is still going on. However, by using the word "preparing" you are implying nature has a level of foresight it simply does not possess. You also might want to research a bit on classification and division of species. The species barrier is not as clear a line as you seem to think it is.

The peak of the evolution is a man realizing his self. There the evolution ends as he realizes himself having a long journey, being in many species & finally being in the human form.
