The power of evil, if unchecked, is stronger than the power of good if unexpressed.
We must always express some good with some good and positive action. This is the best way to stand up for good.

I do. I may not be able to protest against or change whatever is wrong or unfair. The least I can do is have the guts to support or show my respect for something I believe in.

I most certainly support standing up for one's own beliefs... within reason. If defending your beliefs means you need to harm others, then that is just not acceptable in my book. So I say yes, stand up for your beliefs, but act within reason.

YES, TOTALLY!!!! I strongly believe that people who have principles are one step higher than ordinary people. And people with principle who dare to stand up in order to withold their principle are one step higher than those who merely have principles.
