Because I always hog the remote?

The quote is in fact, incorrect. Most folks that go to church, go often, and some of course, will go only when they have to for the funeral of someone else, or when they are the quest of honor. As far as a "hog being different" yes, they are.
I suppose to accept the quote as accurate, you might say that when the hog is hungry, he goes to the trough, when the Christian is spiritually hungry, they will go to church. In that vein, they are alike, but my vote would go with the hog for consistent regularity.
