if you can possiblly find out which court she was adpted out of there would be sealed records that can help. i dont' know how much you have but sometimes you can get ahold of the social security admin and they can help you to some point. maybe your brithd certificate can help. its health department that is wherei would start take care.

They're sealed. You will probably have to petition the Court and show 'good cause' to see your own information
