As I mentioned in my last question, I have re-listed this question because I need more specific answers to what to buy and where from (if possible.)
What I also should have mentioned is that I’m in the UK, so that may affect things.
Ok, what I need is a miniature camera. One that can record by itself and NOT need a VRC or pc near-by, doesn’t have to be anything fancy or record long lengths of data.
I have spent hours searching for something that will do the job but whenever I see something promising it turns out that it needs a pc to work and I’m back to square one.

I would consider making something to hide it in, dissembling a normal one if that would work anything to make it affordable, I would love to just buy something specifically made for the job but for one there are very expensive, and two they are often only useable with a receiver plugged into a pc.

I think the best advice I can offer is something that was mentioned a couple of times in the other question:
Find a large electronics store and talk to the manager (don't just browse through what's on display). See if they can do anything to help. Also, try to arrange to rent the equipment for a while (maybe a month - depends how often the cleaner comes) rather than buying it outright.

why not rent a small video camera for the day for about 30 pounds look in the yellow pages and you should be able to find a rental firm hope that helps. You should be able to hide it they are small thee days.
