I am 27 years old and for the last 4 days I have been having problems walking. It is both sides and sitting is not as bad as walking but it is like a brick sitting on both sides of me when I am not moving. It hurts really bad when i walk, in the morning its really bad and I am walking like an elderly person lately. sometimes I have to walk so weird and slow as if I had a disability. Im not making fun of anyone but that is how i have been. I have not done anything out of the ordinary, like running or wearing heels, havent been dancing or anything. I dont know. I could cry at times it is so bad. Well, im sure my sweetie will take care of me when he gets back in 2 days from afghanistan. Im trying to be ok. Please help if you have any suggestions. Thank you.

Hate to say this but it sounds like 'broom handle syndrome'. That is how I was told I was walking as if I have a broom handle shoved ......... so off to the Doc. He gave me a injection of anti-inflammatory and it resolved, but I think it returned again and I had it several times in as many years. Therefore suggest you see a Doc, see if they will give you an injection into the butt and then you will be fighting fit for your sweetie. Good Luck and enjoy having sweetie back.

I suggest you get to the doctor and not rely on people on Yahoo to answer this MEDICAL question. No one here is a doctor and even if they were, without evaluating you and possibly running tests, there is no way anyone could say. There are about a hundred different things this could be such as arthritis, bursitis, or many others. Go to the docor.
