Well, there's all kinds of "love"--people who've been married for 30 years and are still in love act differently than a couple of hormonally ravaged teens enjoying their first crush.

Lots of others here are giving you technical tips--gaze into eyes, etc. I'd take you to the "method" approach instead. What's going on in your character's head? When you know that, try to find a time in your life when your head was in a similar place.

For example, if this is a scene where the guy has just noticed the girl and he wants her but isn't certain that the sentiment is shared by her--then recall some time in your life when you really, really wanted something and weren't sure you could have it.

If this is a scene where they've committed to each other and they are rejoicing in their relationship, think about a time when you were happy in the company of a really, really close friend.

Whatever the scene, try to feel the emotions you felt in your real life in similar situations, and let them guide you. Don't "act like you're in love", instead think about the famous actor who you think is super-sexy. Put your mind and heart into a condition similar to love.

And then put the technical stuff into the performance--hold your jaw foreward, find opportunities to touch the object of your affections, speak in the closest imitation of a Barry White voice that your feminine larynx can muster :-)

Think about what you feel for your parents....or grandparents...or even for a puppy etc....that's the only way to get that look of love when you don't know what it's like, everyone feels love in a different way, there is no set way to look. Is there a song that you like...think of that...or something that you love with a lot of emotion....I can't imagine trying to do this...that is faking it....oh well I guess that's why they call it acting !!!!!!!!!

Im like no lover. so do it or the opposite. eyes for only her. your so blindid by her beauty your clumzy, in not just your actions but your words too. studder. pause. think. shaky motions as if internally frustrated. pause. think again. finally relax with the knowledge you are saying what needs to be said (for myself) then quietly saying it as if ashamed. but never anticipate an answer from her. after saying it , whatever it is, and another pause shake it off. remember your fine without her. And fines a lie, but when your with her your great! Its hard. and she needs full undevidid attention!

OK. do the long deep soulful gaze into your partner's eyes. Be attentive to whatever wants/needs that are being portrayed. Bring gifts if you can work that into the role play.Hope this helps, and have fun!

There's always the deep loving gaze that lovers do when they look in each other's eyes. You have to want to hold and be close to the other person too.
