after 9/11, do you feel safer at security check points??

It's better than nothing. It's absurd to remove shoes because one guy tried to light his on fire. But I do like the fact that their are air marshals on so many flights. This reassures me more than anything.
It is a pain, yes. But really people what would your alternative be. We don't pay these people enough so just let then do their job and leave them alone.

No - And the people doing the security tend to be somewhat rude, at least in the US. Not so in Europe. I was treated rather shabbily in NY's JFK airport but I was treated with respect when I went through the security at London's Heathrow which is much busier and far more crowded than JKF.

I generally disagree with the laptop coverage. i don't have faith that they certainly need you to get rid of it from that is case. in case you're taking it out of your case, and get stopped mutually because it is going in the process the device, that is sitting available for all and sundry to take it. That only isn't good to could desire to danger plenty because of the fact the scanners are not solid sufficient.

There a joke. They "don't profile" so they wand gray haired grandmas and babies in strollers. I profile people unconsciously within seconds of seeing someone. But because they are employees of the government they don't. ... This question makes me too mad to say any more.
