Man, there´s a problem about me answering this question... I've never been on a plain trip... and I'm 37. But one of these days I will and then I'll tell you something about it.
On the other hand I always try to be polite. And to say "thank you" in that situation or any other is part of one's education.
Take care
V

properly, one waiter at this pizza place as quickly as complimented the purple Floyd blouse i replaced into wearing yet that's approximately it. i'm actual a waitress for a eating place/bar and that i'm getting complimented on my visual allure a minimum of once or twice each and every week. Ironic, isn't it? :P

Every time I fly. With the idiots they have to deal with on a daily basis every thank you they can get is well deserved. I have never had a bad flight crew.

Of course. Being a flight attendant for a commercial airline can be a brutally hard job, and most of them do it well, and with a pleasant smile.

of course all the time... and i travel a lot and bad service is more of an exemption than a rule. most of this flight crews and workers are trained to be customer oriented and courteous and helpful.

Yup I do that. I always do that when getting off and sometimes when the service is really outstanding.

I chat with most of them (the ones that want to I mean) so the subject comes up.
