GSP beats Hughes
and then GSP beats Serra
which makes Serra v Hughes possible
and then Hughes beats Serra
and Serra moves down to 155 and Hughes retires

Does it sound likely?

Who would care about Serra v Hughes if they both got beat by GSP?

I don't think GSP will beat Hughes next time around since I doubt Hughes is going want to go out as losing and just retire. Of course I could be wrong on that and only time will tell. What is even more unlikely is Serra getting down to 155. I watched his first fight in the UFC last night and he was a few years younger then. As they get older fighters have an ever increasing harder time dropping weight and so that is one of the reasons why they oftentimes move up in weight class. Looking at him now I don't see him getting down to 155 ever again.
