OR since you obviously have a trust issue, save yourself the money and end it before it gets ugly.

Well you obviously have feelings for her correct? And you trusted her enough to BE your girlfriend? Why not trust her now. Unless she's given you a strong reason not to trust her, then go with your gut instinct.

I'm in a long distance relationship right until he's done with his 4th deployment. It's not a big deal to us. We both know and love one another, we're counting down the days until he's home again and we get our own place. If one of us didn't trust the other, then what would be the point in staying in a serious relationship?

Do you trust in your heart that you can be trusted? So having doubt already places untruth of person in your life. Do you love her? Do you know that you can be loyal to her? Stop, placing those thoughts in your head! Do you believe you can?
Does your heart say otherwise. Have faith because if this relationship is right and meant to be you will not have anything to worry about. Relax, take a deep breathe and say to yourself I have faith in myself because I trusted that I took the time to get to know this girl. So, do me a favor, if she so far away from you, why not write a letter to her? E-mail her? Text her? Tell her you are always on my mind. Talk to her and tell her how you feel. Do you two communicate? Can you tell her things and you do not have to worry about being that vulnerable? Don't worry. Believe and have faith that you two will be fine with the distance.

Personally I think you should ask yourself why you have trust issues. The problem is with you not your girlfriend.

Do you not trust your girlfriend because you can't trust yourself to be faithful?

trust is earned and she has to earn your trust and the way she does that is by never giving you a reason to distrust her. trust is also influenced by your past love experiences and if those were bad then its important not to transfer those bad experiences to your current gf when she has done nothing to deserve it. love is an ability and if you really love her then you will have the ability to only think the best of her until she gives you a reason to think otherwise.

Can she trust you in turn? If this is an issue, it's better to end the relationship altogether.
