Yep, you're supposed to actually be thinking for yourself. Your teacher isn't asking you what WE THINK! He or she wants to know what you would write.

But I'll give you a little clue. This painting is a rather well known work of art by Edward Hopper (the artist who did 'Nighthawks At The Dinner'). Do a little search and a little research on Edward Hopper and you'll be able to get into his head. He painted many portraits of isolated and solitary moments. The woman in this painting happened to be his real life wife, by the way. He used her as a subject many times, including some nude studies.

It can be a bit intimidating a question like this but...
... there is actually nobody qualified to answer it for you.

The question asks for YOUR impression. Just write down what you think. If it has narrative (and I think it does) make up a little story.

About the readers being able to "see" the painting. They will, if only because they know they are expected to. Minds work in that strange way.

Good luck.

By the way. If you have written your answer and are unsure... just post THAT along with the question and you will be commented on and helped to iron out the mistakes that (doubtfully) may be in there.

Let's do something really cool. Let's consider the possibility that if you actually did your own homework you would become more educated, maybe find something that inspires you or motivates you to great things and creates great character at the same time. I love helping people who need help, but you could actually be the next one helping others if you applied yourself. Just think, in the time it took to write your question, post it and check and check and check for a good answer to plagiarize, you could have just written it yourself. Imagine that, you are an instant genius.

the quantity of communication in narratives is in actuality a remember of flavor and trend. presently, perhaps simply by fact of television and action pictures, the form is for a intense share of communication and for short, user-friendly sentences, which limits how plenty description you ought to use. tale telling is unquestionably plausible without speech. look at a number of the lengthy, 0.33 occasion descriptive products in Charles Dickens or maximum epic poetry. whether, this way will possibly no longer allure plenty to favorite readers, so which you're able to evaluate your meant aim marketplace formerly attempting it.
