The best stuff I've come across is Xeramance Protective Lip moisturiser by Lutia - which just melts into the lips and heals them quickly. IMHO it's much better than petroleum jelly products like Lipsil which don't really moisturise but just 'block'. Another product is Yu-Be moisturising skin cream, which uses glycerine.

I like tinted lip balm. I like Tarte's tinted lip balms for a little tint and moisture of course

I use the little Vaseline tins all year round - makes great lip gloss!

I've been using Cymex for cracked lips but my lips are just a bit dry.
