I worked at Mexx and as a matter of fact 2T and 24 months are pretty much the same size, but for some pants they are a bit longer (2T that is).

for those of you who keep saying 2T isnt cut for diapers is wrong . The only diff between 24 months and 2T is that the 2T clothing is slightly more narrow and a tiny bit longer. But that's not always the case. Sometimes they are exactly the same size, that just depends on the manufacturer. The sizes tho have nothing to do with weather or not a child is wearing a diaper under them.

For the most part yes. It is easier to find the tops that snap in the crotch in 24 months and some of the 2T pants are longer than 24 months. I think it just depends on the brand mostly.

Only if a brand carries both sizes. In that situation - 24 mos is made for children that are a little shorter and rounder (still baby like) 2T's tend to be slimmer and longer legged.

specific, yet in my reviews, 24 month shirts have the onsie snap bottoms, and 2T shirts are merely common shirts. I easily have a 2 year previous, and that i purchase his clothing from the two lines: 2T and 24m

In general 2T is a smidge bigger than 24 months and different brands aren't the same size either. The best bet is to try clothes on. And I know that it is challenging to try on clothes on youngsters, my youngest son will be 2 in Jan. and he is in a 3T and 4T in some clothes.

Yes, but in my experiences, 24 month shirts have the onsie snap bottoms, and 2T shirts are just normal shirts.
I have a 2 year old, and I buy his clothing from both lines: 2T and 24m

yes, at least they suppose to be.
all these sizes vary so much from manufacture to manufacture. I have pretty petite girl who is almost 3 years old. She is wearing some pants that are labelled "18 month", some 2T, 3T and some "4T". I do not trust labels blindly anymore, it's too unreliable. I try to measure or try on clothes now.
