I think its perfectly okay, as long as you send the invitations well in advanced. Maybe even send save the date cards, and your guests may even want to make your wedding their fun memorial day trip and stay where you get married for the whole weekend.
Congrats!

Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May, therefore it may not be the best day to get married on. but if you want to get married on that day, then it shouldn't matter. it may be difficult on some of your guests though as they would have to take off on Tuesday as well. Good luck

Sorry, but I'm a complete pessimist. I'm not in favor of getting married on any kind of holiday.
Not saying that you guys are going to get divorced, but if the unthinkable would happen, you'd always be reminded of your wedding day on the holiday.

It's perfectly fine, just make sure to send out save the date cards because lots of people travel that weekend and they will need to know of your wedding in advance.

it is fine but realize that a lot of people will have holiday plans that take them out of town and also that the Friday of a holiday weekend is usually a traffic nightmare

it would be fine if you make sure to give guests ample times to not make their own plans first.
i know many of our friends and family take out of town vacations.
you might want to send the invites out an extra month or more early so they don't make plans then get your invite.
i bet they would hate to decline your wedding bcse they have non refundable airline tix or hotel reservations

I wouldnt, because its a day to honor the people who died for our country. But on the other hand, people will have the day off and be able to attend.
