I only worked 4 months this year and had a baby sept 25th, can I still file the baby? Can I file taxes if I only worked 4 months? If so, can I file my two kids and get the earned income tax credit for kids?

Since you worked for 4 months, you probably had some taxes witheld, so make sure that you file. You can claim the kid who was born on sept 25th.

go to www.taxact.com and you should be able to enter you stuff and get your tax done for free. Also if you dont have high income, look into your state, or throught the irs, there are differet programs, so you dont hve to pay anything.

Yes, you should file the return even if you are not required to file the return.
Also you must know your filing status. Can someone claim you as dependent? If yes, then you don't get EIC but you may have a tax refund.
Whoever can claim you a dependent, will be able to claim your kids and get the tax benefit.
