im planning on moving my family to Las Vegas in a couple of months. we are currently living in los angeles. i work for the Staples Center in the security dept. and just wondering if theres alot of jobs in security? also what is the pay? im making close to 28,000 here...

Its somewhat easy to get a security officer job in Vegas, because there are a decent amount of openings at the big casinos.
The pay will be a little less than $28,000, maybe about $22,000. But that difference isn't as much as it sounds because in Vegas they don't deduct a state income tax from you like California.

Security officers are a real job at the casinos. I'm not quite usre how that translates to the show, but, all casinos have there own security force. I like Las Vegas, but I'm a little prejudiced.

good work record and clean you can get on. you will not get $28 K out here. $9 if lucky with OT.
