Basis of right or wrong is survival. If I kill your father, you will most likely retaliate and kill me. I would lose out really big in the gene pool if I were to die before i could procreate.

Best to follow the rules of the society you are in, and best to keep your nose clean, so to say, if you want to live another day.

Society has had rules and regulations on how to deal with immoral people and people who do wrong things, way before the Bible or the Quran came along. We manged to prosper then, I am sure we could continue to do so now, without our so-called holy books.

TYPE in your search engine (Bible Contradictions)
Set back and be amazed. I can tell you this, the query you have, makes little sense, as the Quran is where the Bible came from. if one fails the test both does!

no, that is only what idiots say. first off the bible says many things we no longer agree with but religious people just pretend these aspects dont exist and over look them.

and the bible was created after many societies had started and failed, and they all had a sense of right and wrong and they had their own laws so no that is still more b.s. from those charlatans.

Neither. I suggest reading Kant and John Stuart Mill.

They both support slavery. Do you? If not, then obviously neither of those silly old books is the basis of right and wrong.

Its not our place (definitly not mine) to preach you about it. That's for YOU to decide and not us. With God's guidance, maybe you will choose and know it in your heart what the "true" truth is. If only God wills.

If you need rules to live by, then either will do. If you want to live for yourself, join a library.
