Actually, God asks us these things everyday. Unfortunately, capitalism doesn't work like the teachings of Jesus. Jesus said, and I'm paraphrasin, that if a man asks for your coat, give him also your tunic. Give to those who ask of you.
If he asked me directly, I would have to. No more excuses.

I would be willing to share my home, at least if I could still have a room (even a small room) to myself and access to facilities like the shower. But to surrender the home and live on the streets, no, and I would see no point, since if I am to let them live there, the least they can do is to share. Also, they, as a group, would have better chances than me to survive somehow, as they can work more hours than one individual, not to speak of the government help for people with children, which I do not have. If God insisted, I would then arrange for the most modest of accomodations for myself in or around the house, even if that means sleeping in a tiny room not meant for living in, but I would still retain ownership and access. I would also consider helping them get out of the house instead while still having a place to live (for instance, by sending kids to boarding school or university).
Since beggers can't be choosers, I would consider keeping the best room for myself and making those people my servants. They, not me, would have to live in cramped spaces if there isn't enough space. But since God said so, I would give them housing.

God who have compassion and kindness to these in need will ask to share my house to any race of people that is in need,a place to stay like flood and fire victims. It is so dumb to think that God will kick me out of my own house to give my house to a poor black family. Unless I am renting my house to God,and I did not pay my rent for 2months, and it is against the Law that I will be kick out on the street. I am a pious Christian and I thank God that he gave me a big brain not a pea brain like some other people. I swear this a very honest answer.

Well Well well. You are the smug one. I just opened my door to someone that came and knocked because their electric got turned off last night. I would not, could not turn him away. If a Black, Orange or Purple Family came and knocked on my door i would invite them in. God never tells me in any Scripture to leave my house to some one else. The Scripture Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. So I would not expect anyone to give it all up but I would like at least the rooming for the night or make an arrangement until I could get my family somewhere so i would expect the same. After all how can you help someone else if you do not have the means to help them. I thought you guys were logical folks. come on.
God Bless

If it was truly God asking me then I would yes. Because God has a plan and just as the family are his children I am as well and thus he will continue to always look out for me.

Why on earth God ask anyone to surrender their home to anyone and expect them to live on the streets? I could see God ask someone to open their homes to a family in need but not expect them to leave it themselves. If that were the case why would skin color even matter?

My nextdoor neighbors are a poor black family - in the same boat as me, robbing Peter to pay Paul just to keep the rent paid and get some presents for our children under the tree.
Would I give them my apartment if God told me to?
Heck Yeah! I'd trade with them in a heartbeat - they moved in several months after me and have the updated interior I wish I had!

No. God would never tell me to surrender my home, and even if He did, I wouldn't surrender my home to a poor white family or to anyone for else for that matter. If God wants someone to have a home, He can get it for them Himself. He doesn't need my help.

Dru, you're saying you're psychologically sound, then checklist voices telling you conflicting solutions to what you have asked. Do you even understand to whom or what you pray? Do the voices you pay attention come from interior or exterior your head? you're scared as hell, telling people who you in basic terms % to pay attention from people who enable you to already know what you % to pay attention. this is no longer a valid psychological veiw factor. Why are you so aggravating? in case you're as sound as you're saying then it is going to no longer remember what every person says to you, could it? i think of you need to confirm a doctor for assessment, instead of coming right here to talk something this is, needless to say, over maximum individuals's heads. As on your claims of non secular freedom, those exist for each individual, no longer in basic terms for people who in basic terms agree which incorporate your point of view! in case you % in basic terms people who will believe then you do no longer come pay attention spewing your hatred of all non-christians. this is an open communicate board and is not any place for hate vomiting jerks. I take exception with the, so-noted as, christians on right here speaking the debate yet have no longer something yet overt hatred for non-christians, this can be taken out the Atheists, then the Muslims, who brave this vicious, on line, jungle.
