Well I work at a daycare and there is a person who really don't like me and she is best friends with the high managers and I believe it was her who got me fired. she brought me in to the office last week and told me everything I needed t work on and I really tried after a week I asked the assisant if she thought I was getting better and she said yes. I was brought in the office again today and she said nothing improved the assisant was sitting right there I said she told me I was getting better and she DENIED that she ever said that I feel nothing I ever do is good enough and they told me I needed to find a different job she said she hired a new teacher who is starting monday. I have very little right now Im trying to go to school for my degree. I feel so hopeless, I don't understand how the other teacher in the room left a child unattended and it was a huge or deal and I just left a few toys out and I was fired we were both hired a week apart we started in october.

Well my question is why are they doing this to me? also Would you go back to a job that told you that you need to look for another job?

I would advice you to look for another job. Working in this line with a back stabber as a teacher, sucks. I will never put my child in this kind of enviroment and neither should you hang around with ppl like that. Upgrade yourself constantly and move on, it may not be easy especially when financily involved and we have our oown commitment, but we have to push hard to succeed. There's always room for improvement for those who are willing to work hard. I hope you will get a better job soon, and returning to school again once you have settled down a your new place. Office politics... somebody took exception to you and didn't have the balls to talk to you. The person who targeted and assassinated you probably felt threatened in some way by you... so take it as a complement. Just let go of the chagrin you might feel and remember that "what goes around comes around"... karma is a booger-bear!
If a particular person typically leaves kids unattended, you need to report them to the regulatory agency.
If you have been there longer than 90 days, you can get unemployment benefits... go down and file for benefits tomorrow.
Pull your resume together and get out there and find another job.
Consider putting a flyer together using the programs on your PC and running off some copies. You have daycare experience... offer babysitting services... particularly during parties, so the host can be free to do what they need to do. this is peak party season.

Working with people who don't like you is stressful. They did you a favor because you might have had to quit in the long run. Jobs are scarce right now but don't let that get you down you will find another one eventually.

Nothing you can do but find another job. However my concern and I hope yours is that this place left a child unattended. I would alert the parent of that child if possible. I know if it was my child Id want to know.

I would basically go look for another job. Someone is obviously jealous and envious of you so better move on and get your papers and find another job elsewhere where people are better.

take them to court and sue for wrongful termination. then, when there daycare gets shut down, you can have the last laugh.
