Has anyone heard the rumour that a certain group of Maoris in the Kaitaia region of Northland , New Zealand, are in possession of the Ark of the Covenant? I know it sounds very far fetched and unlikely that such a group would have it.....but who knows.

I saw the headlines for a news article that some Ethiopians were claiming to have it, but I didn't read the story because I was busy getting my grandkids ready for school. Interesting, though, isn't it? I want to read the article soon. (I remember my pastor talking once about how the AoC was supposed to have gone with the Queen of Sheba and her son, who was Solomon's (I think) too.) So it could be possible.

Actually it is a tribe that is in Madagascar. The little island next to Africa. There is said to be the lost tribes and keepers of the Ark after one of the raiding bands of Crusaders came in and they took it there to hide it. Supposedly it has been there ever since.

God Bless!

Well, I have always heard and read that the Arc is in Ethiopia. They have a guard and everything protecting it. No one may enter, only the guard who is a virgin.
