I'd choose Mormon. Might have some interesting ideas.

There are extreme Mormons and extreme Christians.

I think Bush has taken his ideologies too far and there are some in the Utah State Legislature who do the same, however there are many Mormon politicians that are straight up and aren't misguided into thinking they need to make our nation "Christian." The Utah Governor, Jon Huntsman, is a good example of a Mormon politician that can keep his religion and politics separate...he still uses his morals but he isn't trying to use the state to advance his religion.

So, I would vote for whoever I thought would be least likely to abuse his power to advance his religion.

I am not an atheist (I am wiccan), so I hope you don't mind my presence here. If you do mind, I'll turn you into a frog (just kidding). Anyhow, I would take a Mormon any day. They are totally weird and very funny to stare at. I drove through Utah one time and I just had to stop in every shop I could 'cause those folks are wacky as hell. Oh, and the guys are soooo hot. I mean, to Wiccans, Christian dudes are fairy-airy wimp worts. But mormons - wow! So I was like pretending to be a Mormon (seriously), to try to pick up on this guy. It didn't quite work, 'cause I forgot to cover the pentagram I have tattooed on my arm. hehe!

I suppose I'm technically an agnostic and not an atheist, but I'd have just about anybody before I'd have a Mormon.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Neither. An Atheist president. Atheists are generally libertarians, and that is who we need in office. A libertarian.

The Book of Mormons or whatever is basically an expansion pack to the bible.

A) They're both Christian.
B) Religion doesn't matter to me, until that's all they talk about.... my province (Quebec) has already experienced a very right-wing Christian in power.... the result was called 'Duplessis' Orphans'- Where the government took away all the children of unwed parents, and placed them in mental institutions where they were mentally, physically and sexually abused by the clergy.... and this was less than 50 years ago, mind you.

Frankly, I think I would sit out the vote- and I vote every time.... I take that responsibility very seriously.

Although I am not an atheist, a Mormon is a Christian.
So if you choose a Mormon, you would get both!

Pretending that Mormons aren't Xians...

Considering that all the other branches of gov't are controlled by Xians, I'd rather have the Mormon so that both sides can cancel each other out when one tries to introduce some stupid faith based initiatives.

Mormons are Christians.

But they are generally misanthropic, rightwing neocon politicians as evidenced by retired Sen. Jake Garn and current Sen. Orrin Hatch.

So, if the other Christian can tell the difference between Caesar and their god and make that plain to me, I'd vote for them.
