Damn. Aren't you tired of living a fantasy?

I'm sorry if I ruined the show but it's like this:

You FORCE us into this huge fantasy show with a bunch of "great actors" like god, jesus, mahoma, budha, and some other flying menaces, zeus, diana, mars... Well, I hate to be the heckler but I'm here yelling "hey this is all just a movie/act/fantasy, wake up!" but the thing is, I'm not responsible for the act to be there, you are, and a few billion more who still are forcing me into watching this fantasy which I don't want to watch. So stop "wondering".

BTW, stop thinking in terms of war, recruitment would be a sign of fighting between atheists and theists. Such a fight does not exist and should not exist. Just because I don't like the movie doesn't mean you need to jump out and shoot me.

if there an Atheist, they don't believe in God, so why would they be recruited here? With the way of Atheism, they just happen to born. That's my opinion

Recruited? Is there a club I should know about?

I became atheist before I discovered Yahoo Answers.

Atheists are Satan's disciples and as such their work is to spread "doubt" about the gospel to justify their being. I am a Christian always have been. However for a period in my life I too questioned the Gospel because books and the media placed "doubts" in my mind. Well I almost lost my marriage during that time but thanks to God my wife was an angel and stuck through the bad times. She was living proof that our marriage vows "for better or for worst" was a serious vow she had made in the presence of God at the altar. She never gave up on my "worst behavior" and then one day it just dawn on me that God was showing his love for me through my wife, by George, that says a lot about God. I accepted God as my savior and have tried to better my life each day by helping others understand that God is real not just something we read about or hear about. He is REAL. He is a forgiving FATHER and wants you always by his side.

Yep, just rotated back to the world from the front lines of......
For ****'s sake, what kind of question is that? Yeah, we're really working on burgeoning the atheist ranks. We have a signing bonus and a 401k now. We want you!

I tend not to wonder so much as I wander. But you can recruit if you like; if that is what you have been sent out to do! But remember just cause someone doesn't believe in Jesus it don't mean they ain't your friend.

If an invitation to Militant Atheist Boot Camp counts, then yes.

No. Nothing was "done" to me. I made decisions here. I deconverted. I was not deconverted by someone else.

I deconverted from Catholicism to Secular Humanism to Atheism *partly* because of what I read here and partly because of the books I read as a result of my participation here. The atheists that were here at the time (some of whom are still here) made comments and asked questions that got me thinking, and once I started thinking it was inevitable that I would lose religious faith.

Are the atheists recruiting again? Darn. I was hoping to scam a tote bag at the next membership drive.

Will you ask that of heathens, Wiccans, pagans, witches, Buddhists, Hindus..... etc?

If so - no, I stumbled across Y/A at the bottom of a Yahoo Group I run and checked it out and jumped in for fun, learning and to help educate.

No. Nor have I come here in hopes of "recruiting" others. I just like the subject of religion in general. I can talk about it objectively and honestly, so long as the questions are sincere and not loaded (which is rare).
