How about My favourite fruits are grapes - alternatively - My favourite fruit is a grape

or: I prefer grapes to any other fruit

My favorite fruit IS grapes would be correct.
My favorite fruit ARE grapes is not.

Banana is my fashionable Grapes are ok in specific circumstances Seedless water melons are greater helpful than the grapes yet I continually eat too plenty water melon and my abdomen hurts too plenty intake haha...yet gotta luv the banana

"Is" would be correct. "is" is reffering to "fruit" which in singular, it is not reffering to the grapes themselves which are plural. You would say "grapes are good" and you would say "My favorite food is grapes".

"Is" . "Fruit" (singular) is the subject , not "grapes " (plural).
