Have you ever seen the clip where John Safran goes door to door in Salt Lake City trying to convert people to atheism?

nicely, i'm Muslim... however the thought is an identical with my answer... it is something i've got constantly been tempted to do to JW!!! would have worked greater valuable whilst i replaced into an athiest... "hi, i'd desire to unfold the understanding of god... 'i do no longer exist, you're a moron for believing in me all your existence!!!'. Now, particularly than spend your days praying and dressing as much as adapt with something of your idiotic cult, would not you particularly sit down around in shorts and singlet, ingesting a lager, swearing on the television as you watch your commonly used team flog the different?" ahhhhhhhh, would be sooooooo plenty relaxing. And in the event that they close the door on you, TP their domicile... 'Do unto others' is a spiritual element!!! XD Oh, and specific, i'm conscious that my answer makes me a hypocrite :P I even have my motives

I would read it, just to know what I was up against. Then I could discuss how many flaws there are in the pamphlet.

Uhm... say, "OK, I'll check it out" just to be polite. Chances are I won't really pay much attention to it, but I don't see the point in getting upset over it.

We actually had something similar happen to us a few years ago... some Jehovah's Witnesses came to our door. They were nice ladies and gave me an interesting book, although I didn't buy into some of their ideas.

After they left, I read through the book and then put it on my shelf. Years later I gave it to a garage sale. And that was it.

Hopefully we would be able to talk, if you had an open mind and heart. I might ask you some questions along the line of how an objectively baseless moral source can ensure "morality," seeing it served men lie Stalin, Mao, etc,. so well.

And how perhaps your favorite authors (Harriss, Hitchens, Dawkins, etc.) can claim to be "brite" and yet define Christianity by Catholicism - as part of their broad brush of all religions as violent, in contrast to what a nice atheistic country would be (see the USSR, circa 1960) - and not by the Biblical record, which is where the title Christian (Acts 11:26) comes from.

And how you can dismiss the abundant empirical evidence, of effects which correspond to the promises of Christ (as the cause), when so often they defy naturalist explanations.

Until you show up, i would like you to do some heart searching here:

I saw a video where atheists did that to Mormons in Salt Lake City. It was pretty interesting.

Here it is:

Same thing I do to the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons - offer you a drink of water and talk to you for a little while.

Peace to you.

They'd probably do the same thing I do to christians and jehova's witnesses.

Slam the door, release the hounds (Good ol' Mr. Burns), turn on the sprinklers or pretend they're not home.

Probably invite you in and astound you with feats of logic, leaving you a confused agnostic and leaving me with a wastebasket full of your discarded pamphlets.

I would invite you in and we would have a discussion on the pros and cons. It's hard to dispute hard evidence. It's hard to prove the hypothetical.
