The Bible does mention about the 144,000. Since its in the Bible then that is true. So why the sarcasm. Do not mock the Holy scriptures of God Almighty. Why is your name *Crossdresser*? Çross dressing is not approved with God Almighty.
EDIT: Have I mistaken? You are viggy? Sorry.

If that is true the 144,000 was there! However John said he looked around and saw a great crowd that no man was able to number, well was John wrong in saying this? They all were surrounding the throne!

Heaven cannot get full. The fact is there are multi-millions of angelic spirits in heaven.
God created the earth for humans to live on. It is not some testing ground as some religious leaders would have you think since when the Earth was formed the angels rejoiced. So there were angels before the earth was made. Why were they not put through the rigors of testing like humans would have to?
Angels too fell from grace in the beginning account of Noah they forsook their proper dwelling places and came to earth and married the daughters of men. So even being an angel was no guarantee at the time of earth's history that you would be obedient to God.
God purposed the earth to remain forever and when he created Adam and Eve they were not to die. They only eventually died because they disobeyed God's warning and paid the price by death and because we are the offspring of Adam and Eve we too in this state of imperfection will die also.
But God through his begotten Son Jesus has given obedient mankind a way out from eternal death and soon he will bring to ruin death to faithful humans on earth. Mankind will be able to live forever on earth just as God originally intended.
The vast majority of people who understand about what the Bible really teaches about the paradise earth want to remain on earth. They have the prospect of the earthly hope to enjoy a paradisaic world with no famine, war, death and wickedness. No more humans ruling over each other but to have the perfect government of the heavenly kingdom over the entire earth.
144,000 selected humans who understand what it is like to be human and feel the needs and desires intimately of the human race will become angelic spirit creatures to co-rule with Jesus Christ our King.
Since many religious people call Jesus a king wouldn't it be then fitting that he had a kingdom. That kingdom is the one described in Daniel 2:44
The prospect of forever life on earth in happiness and living a purposeful life where no suffering and pain is allowed. Satan and his demons and all wicked people are cut off forever.
The earth is going to be restored to what God originally intended before Satan, Adam and Eve messed it up.
That God is Jehovah and only Jehovah that will be worshipped worldwide forever.
Amen.

All God's people go to heaven. JWs try to have their own deal but they do not have the authority to carry out their promises they claim to take from the Holy Bible.
This is symbolic number coming from 12x 12x12... 144, ooo

The gift God gives through the Lord Jesus Christ is life everlasting. Since the Messianic Kingdom is a government, it needs only a certain number of members to rule and administrate. Then it needs others to rule over and administrate for.
God has always had a purpose for the earth -- to be inhabited, not destroyed. That purpose will be fulfilled when the earth becomes a paradise, inhabited by saved, righteous people.
God made the earth for mankind. That any get to go to heaven is a special exception.
God's favor will be with those who live in the renewed earth. So much so that it is said that "the tent of God will be with mankind, and He will dwell with them." ( Revelation 21:3)
We don't have to be "up there" to experience God's eternal presence and blessings.

Is the number 144,000 merely symbolic?
The answer is indicated by the fact that, after mention of the definite number 144,000, Revelation 7:9 refers to “a great crowd, which no man was able to number.” If the number 144,000 were not literal it would lack meaning as a contrast to the “great crowd.” Viewing the number as literal agrees with Jesus’ statement at Matthew 22:14 regarding the Kingdom of the heavens: “There are many invited, but few chosen.”
Ps. 37:9, 11, 29: “Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth . . . The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”

Did you hear the joke about Saint Peter giving someone a tour of Heave, and as they walked around Peter takes his guest and shows him a variety of groups singing hymns, some over there meditating, these folks here dancing, some studying, some having wonderful discussions...then Saint Peter tells his guest to be very quite as he points out another group studying the Bible, and this point his friend asks Saint Peter why they have to be so quiet, "because, these are the Missionary Baptist, and they think they are the only ones here!".

The Bible does not teach that heaven is the reward for everyone that is good.
Heaven is home to the spirit realm;Jehovah God,Jesus Christ, the angels and the 144,000 anointed men and women taken from the earth.
These ones will rule as kings and priests with Christ Jesus over the earth in God's heavenly kingdom.(rev.14:1-4)
The rest of obedient mankind including the billions resurrected will have the prospect of spending eternity on a paradise earth. This is what lay before Adam and Eve.They had perfect health and everything they could possibly need or want in the garden of Eden. Jehovah commanded them to 'be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it'.
This was God's original plan for mankind. That man live forever on a paradise earth.(Ps.37:9-11,29;Pr.2:21)
God's purpose hasnt changed and in his due time the earth will be restored and those willing to serve and obey him will be able to enjoy what Adam and Eve had lost for all mankind and that is everlasting life.
After all, Jehovah God created the earth for humans to inhabit.

You see in 1914 a new world order took over when Jesus starting reigning in heaven. From that time until now --according to JW's--the 144,000 were to remain alive on the earth until the second coming. But this seems almost impossible because Jesus has not returned yet and it is almost 100 years since this prophecy was foretold. I wonder how many of the 144,000 are still alive?

144,000 go to heaven (the witnesses) and the rest are on paradise on earth, which is almost as good as heaven, but not quite, of course.

the 144,000 is in the bible, those are going to be chosen by God to help wipe out the evil, and spend the rest of their lives in heaven, but the others that are left, will have a great life here on earth.
