Elevate the food. Dogs don't climb.

Baby gate if you want to keep the dog out of the laudry room and let the cat do as it pleases (which is what cats will usually do any way!) As far as training your dog to not eat the cat food or o through your laundry, good luck! My dogs will eat cat food at every availble oppertunity, so I just had to put the cat food up where the dogs couldn't get it. My dogs still regularly steal my blankets during the night and sleep on them (which would be why I have 3 now, 1 for us and 1 for each dog, aren't they spoiled?) The only way i know to keep a dog out of the laundry is to keep the dog away from the laundry! I guess you could try spraying bitter apple, but I think that it only works as a chewing detreant (plus do you really want that on all your clothes?)

Put in a cat door on the laundry room door. It's a small version of the doggie doors that people install so the dogs can go outside at will. We have a closet that is the designated cat bathroom and we put one of the little doors in.
We got ours at Home Depot and it was fairly easy to install. You have to spend a little time teaching the cat how it works but unless you have very small dogs, it will keep the dogs out and everyone can still enjoy whole house freedom.

This is the time to use their differences. Cats can jump to high places. Can you get a hinged half door?. Cat jumps into the chair to the ledge of the door and into the laundry. Ok .Cant find a half door. Cut a hole in the existing door? Those painted interior doors are cheap, 25 dollars without the frame. You can choose to put the cat door in the bottom, but cat will get stressed out by dog noses jammed in it, trying to get in.

Can you put the cat food on a shelf or on top of the dryer if the dogs can't reach it? I have a friend that had two Chows and a cat and she would put the cat food on a shelf that was too high for the dogs to get to but the cats could get up there via a scratching post/tower.

Set your dogs up to get into the cat's food when they think you're not paying attention, then bust them in the act. Act angry, jerk them out by the scruff of their necks. Or wait until their heads are right in the cat food and holler no real loud while simultaneously throwing a wad of keys at the wall or machines. Somewhere that it will make a loud noise scaring them. And when they bolt act like you didn't throw anything and call them to you asking what happened. Make them think the cat food did something scary to them, not you. The thing is for them to associate cat food with "scary".

Put a cat door in the laundry room door. Big enough for the cat, but too small for the dog.

You can train your dogs to pretend there is an imaginary line in front of the laundry room and they will not step a foot in it without your permission. You simply need to have alot of patience and catch them in the act of going into the laundry room. Everytime they go near it simply clap your hands or jingle a can of coins or sharply say no. Repitition of this should eventually make them realize they are not allowed.
Good Luck

Baby gate. Cats jump over it, hopefully the dogs don't. If they do, put a cat flap in the laundry room door.

Have you tried a baby gate? I had my son put up a formica remanant counter top which I purchased cheaply from the hardware store. It's low enough for the cat to get to his food and too high for the dogs to jump onto.

dogs seem to like cat food because of more protien (more flavor). put the food up to where the dog cannot get it. or put up a baby gate up so the cat will be able to jump it, but the dog will not. God Bless
