This game i have is for my PS2. Ok , i know this is like a old version but this one is my favortie but i'm stuck. How do I unlock a different area? Do i need to jump across the bridge with a car? If yes, which one and how? I need help!!!! First one with technique that works for me gets 10 points!

yeh mate if you wanna get accross
put on the car flying cheat (http://cheatplanet.gamesradar.com/gb/ps2/game/cheats/cheats.jsp?releaseId=2005120717013119900512) and then get that really fast car that is inside the glass windows near the bomb shop. then fly the car over the bridge.
to get to the next place go through the tunnel.

You need to play out the story mode. When you progress the story, the story unfolds into different cities. There's not way to go to other cities unless you progress the story.
You might be able to go to other cities, but the cops and fbi will get after you. Plus once you unlock a map, it will now show up on your map.
GTA is too addictive.

You'll have to play missions to unlock that properly.
