Zeus IS one of the Gods for me......
Don't forget that Zeus also had Oracles in ancient times, had temples built in his honor that were not destroyed until Christianity tried to kill the competition (which never completely worked as there are still remnant folk practices in Greece dating back to pre-Christian times)

There is far more evidence for Zeus than for the christian god. For one thing, Zeus is visible, whereas the christian god is not. Everyone can look into the night sky and see Zeus. For the christian god, we have to take the word of some superstitious people of 2,000 years ago.

Among people who believed in many different god and goddesses, then yes.
Among folks who believe in one creator God, then no.
Many Christians believe that ancients beliefs and myths reflect many truths about God and the creation.
Christianity may be the ultimate expression of these ideas.
It's the myth about a dying god that became real in time and space.
Religion, myths, stories, fables they may speak to the heart in ways that science and logic don't...a different spiritual reality.
This world may really just be a dim echo or shadow of that other reality.
Zeus, Jehovah, Krishna, may not be provable. But they may indicate evidence of something far greater and more terrible and wonderful than we can imagine.

You know, people like to mention Zeus as a trump card, like there must be a fundamental difference between the "God" of the avarage Christian and Zeus. The truth is, "Zeus" is just an alternate pronunciation (cognate) of "theos," which is "God." Early Christians had no trouble recognizing the Christian God in the Greek Zeus; in fact, many ancient Christian apologists (like Justin Martyr) typically refer to God as "Zeus" or "Jupiter." Even the Apostle Paul quotes from a Hymn to Zeus when he utters the famous phrase, "In him we live and move and have our being... for we are also his offspring."

I count as a witness to Zeus's power. He has answered my prayers on many accounts. Sometimes TOO well. :)
Zeus is real.

Don't forget that Zeus also had a son (Prometheus) who went down to earth to give a gift to mankind, but then got his hands nailed to a wall and slowly died until he was resurrected. Good thing ancient mythology is in the public domain, otherwise Christian churches would sure need a good copyright lawyer.

You can believe or disbelieve whatever you wish. That is your right. Enjoy it. I feel no need what so ever to try and prove anything to you. Live your life as you wish.

I would say that the existence of Zeus is more documented than that of Yahweh, given all those sculptures and ceramic drawings.
