Dont do that. It will do more damage than good. Along with probably nutritional problems you will encounter, the acid from your stomach will slowly errode your esophagus. The old fashion crunches and situps will do. I know situps are not on your best things to do list but they will get rid of the bulge. Dont just isolate though, you need to do some cardio like running....

By purging you are doing irreparable damage to your body. If it's not fat and just bloating then perhaps you should try increasing your water intake and consume a bit more fiber. That will clear out anything that may be filling up your intestinal tract and help keep it clean. If this bulge is actually a thin layer of cutaneous fat then the only thing that will get rid of it is steady exercise like weight lifting coupled with light cardio and a proper diet to keep the fat off. The weight lifting will help you spur your metabolism and increase muscle tension, the cardio will help you burn off empty calories thus preventing them from turning to fat, and a proper diet will assist you in consuming good fuel for the body to maximize your workouts.

Purging is a horrible thing to do to your body. Not only does it do a great deal of harm but it enables the bad behavior that makes you want to purge in the first place. If you do purge I would strongly suggest you look for help and stop immediately.

if you plan on any binging/purging, think about this...you binge, consume many calories, you purge, lose most of those calories you consumed but not all.
your answer would be you are still going to have a bulge maybe an even bigger bulge.
try cardio plus sit ups, a healthy balanced diet and you will begin to see those fabulous abs!

purging??? as in sticking something down your throat and puking everything you eat up or using some other method of getting rid of food in your body?? of course its not okay.. you'll get lots of stomach acid which can rot your teeth and you'll damage your body! Just do it through exercise.. sits up and crunches! If not.. do it through a healthy diet of fruits/veggies/adequate protein and exercise.. trust me.. that'll work :)

P.S I'd go with crunches.. they provide the same workout as situps w/o the backpain =]

you may just be a little bloaty. drink a lot of water and stay away from dairy products. The best way to lose the stomach fat is to do cardio...running, spinning, ect.

eww no, plus your bulge will return. Eat a bit better & it will go away without the chance of it coming back.

purging isnt good for anything but records...
eat less (but dont stop eating compleately as thats worse)
