Do you have 2? Maybe she wants to be like you, and there's nothing wrong with that, is there?

I got my second peircing at about 8 (if I'm remembering correctly) so that I could be like my mom.

So personally, I would let her, as long as she promises to help you take care of them (she's probably not mature enough at 6 to do it on her own).

But since she's only 6, and if you're on the fence about it, why don't you tell her to wait X number of weeks, and see if she still wants it. Who knows, she might changer her mind!

It is up to you. Though if she wants it I would let her. I would let my daughter get a second piercing in her ear at age six if she infact wanted one and told me that she wanted one.

From personal experience I know that whenever my mom told me I couldn't do something it just made me want to do it even more. I don't see anything wrong with making her wait a few years to see if she would even still be interested, but my guess is she still will be. Better you take her in and get it done by a professional than her trying to do it herself.

no way, let her be little. She has to have seen someone that has one to get that influence. Tell her when she turns 8 if she still wants one then you will let her. Let her think about it for a while to see if she really wants it otherwise she will have nose, tongue, belly button rings before she is twelve. You have to give your child boundries at some point in their lives.

I wasn't allowed to get my ears pierced until I was twelve. My parents said it was a right of passage. You could do that in this situation. Good luck...

Yeah... and my son tells me that all he wants to eat is cookies. If I let him, he will be doing damage to his body that will affect him later. Tell her that she can do that when she is an adult. But, for now, you are the adult.
