I just went from around 290 pounds down to about 235 and now i cant seem to lose anymore weight. My training and diet have pretty much stayed the same as when i was losing the weight. Has anyone had any similar problems? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

that's the problem. you need to make further changes to your diet and exercise program to break through the plateau. you need to increase the intensity of training and you need to make more changes to your diet and or caloric intake.

depending on how long you have been on a reduce calorie diet you may need to increase your cals for several weeks to reset your metabolism. an extended period of low cals will always slow the BMR. with out knowing your body fat a rough estimate of your BMR at 235 lbs would be 2,500 cals. shoot for 45% protein, 35% carbs and 20% fats.

way to go keep going ,change your exercise, intensity and variety, the body will have to adapt.. You will be able to overcome the plateau, keep working until you reach a comfortable weight.
To figure out what you weight is , ask your doctor , they have a sort of dial that they use to figure out how much one should wheigh according to their height and weight

you need to switch things & step it up a notch, your body has gotten used to a certain routine.

work out at a different time of day than you normally do and do different exercises. eat less. maybe get a fitness trainer and tell him/her your dilema
