I'm 21 years old and I am overweight and out of shape, I was running on a treadmill today and after about 10 minutes I started feeling pain in my heart so I stopped.

Is this normal for someone who is fat?

stop exercising immediately and schedule an appt. with your Dr. that is not normal. better to be safe than sorry, a couple of weeks, etc. of not exercising really isn't going to matter.

run at very low speed first then gradually increase. If you start running fast from the start, you would get these kind of feeling. Try getting on low speed, if still the same then get even lower speed. If still you're feeling the same... see a doctor

well having pains in the heart is not normal for anyone i strongly suggest that you see a doctor because this could be signs of more serious problems that may occur in the future.
