Alright, so i had some minor, and very minor acne on my chin before football season started. After a while obviously after getting hit in the chin a lot my acne started getting HUGE, im so embarressed, and i mean huge like tons all over my chin and huge huge huge huge. Also because of the infection my lymph nodes are huge now and staying inflamed. Since football is over now they have calmed down a bit, and have gone down after using clindagel for a while that i got from my doctor. I went to a dermetologist 2 days ago and now im on Retin-A MICRO, and taking 2 Minocycline tablets a day. So my problem is im going on a cruise in 2 weeks and i really want this gone. Is there any way i can get it gone by then? any on treatments? is this good enough? please help me!! (Also my lymph nodes started getting sore again after the first day of my new treatments, is that normal?) please answer all these i really want to know them and i was kind of embarressed to ask my doctor all these.
THANKS!

Wow, football and acne. Been there, done that. It takes time and finding the solution that works for you can be frustating.

I know how you feel in your quest to discover a solution. My quest for a solution to this age old problem was similar to yours....you name it, I have tried it.

Recently, A close friend discovered a natural product that she was having excellent results with, so I started using it as well.

I have been using it now for 3 weeks, and the results are flat out remarkable. Since they have a 30 day guarantee, I elected to get the 4 month option to receive 2 months free.

They also have a toll free ordering, which is important to me. They also have plenty of acne info on their site. Their name says it all http://UltraHerbalAcnezine.com Good Luck.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

I'm not sure about you Lymph Nodes, but try Queene Helene Mint Julep Mask. It's quite cheap and works wonders. I use it any time I my zits begin getting bigger, apply over night and you'll noticed a difference in the morning. Typically will clear my face up within 2 or 3 days depending on how bad it is...You can get it at CVS *Eckerds* Wal Mart, Krogers,Walgreens etc....

I took the same acne medication (and am still using) as you did. If I remember correctly, my doctor said that it is suppose to worsen your acne for the first few weeks after using it, then it will get better in a little more than a month. I don't really know how to get rid of it fast since I am not a dermatologist, but Accutane is a powerful acne medication though because of certain side-effects, I am not using it. You probably want to speak to your doctor about using other drugs if your acne medication isn't working for you.
