No, they don't grow limbs back --

An avian veterinarian is a big suggestion.

I'm thinking the only limbs birds have are legs? So your bird has one leg? A lot of birds in the wild live with one leg, but in this case i'm really not sure?

Maybe look on the internet or contact a cockatiel breeder.

I'm sure he will be fine but just to be sure he doesn't need any medication, call someone.

They do not grow limbs back

WHERE do you keep your birds that you did not hear the terrible battle that must have occurred when the bird had its leg bitten off??? The bird would not just meekly accept this attack! It would have fought, screamed, flapped, and done many other things that could have been heard for a great distance!!!

Either you are not telling us the whole story about how this bird came to be so grievously injured, or you are not keeping the birds in an appropriate location so that you can watch over them. It is your responsibility to safeguard these birds , and you obviously cannot do that if you can't even hear it when one of them is fighting for its life!!

MOVE the birds to a place that is close enough that you can hear when they get in trouble!!

the other cockatiel bit it off. this happens a lot with parrots. the only thing you can do is take her to the vet and ask him, because someone would actually have to see the damage to see if it will even heal a little

Take it to the vet. Birds don't regenerate body parts.

no unfortunatly birds dont do that. unlike some reptiles they dont. my guess is that the bird was getting teritorial and he just bit his leg off.
good luck
