definetly not...everyone requires a different amount of calories depending on how much muscle and fat they have and their daily level of activity.

the absolutely bare minimum daily caloric intake is that which is need to support your BMR. once you add in daily tasks, work, exercise, etc. the caloric intake needs to be increased higher to account for this additional energy expenditure.

at 136 lbs your BMR is almost 1,500 cals. so that would be the absolute bare minimum that you need to ingest.

If you cut out calories your metabolism will slow, but that's where exercise comes in to boost it back up. You need to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Find a calculator online. Or you can find a calculator to show you the calories you need to maintain your weight and subtract some from it.(500 is a good start). If you get less than half of your recommended calories for maintaining your weight, your metabolism will slow too much, making it more difficult.

BTW: your weight for your height is still in the healthy range.

i used to be a nurse - some obese sufferers have been positioned on 800 calorie diets as they have been bedridden too and have been given no workout and mandatory to drop extra pounds. yet another subject is low carb too, some people think of ketosis makes you unwell, yet as long as you get sufficient potassium rich ingredients you have to be ok. there are somewhat some distinctive diets for each individual... in case you workout greater keep in mind which you will consume greater! :) I disagree with the guideline as a former nurse as fifteen years in the past I observed sufferers who mandatory to drop extra pounds on much less energy. i'm on drugs that slows my metabolism, so now at enormously much age 40 six there is not any way i'm able to consume what I ate at age 21 while i could no longer benefit a pound if I ate over 3000 energy an afternoon and now I frequently consume below 0.5 that! i'm no longer obese for my top anymore yet on the main staggering weight now!
