i used to get one quarter for each tooth. except the time i lost a molar while it was cemented into my expander bar - that one i got 50c for because there was metal attached to it and i had to wait till the bar was taken out to put it under my pillow. then again, i remember when i could get a tootsie roll for a penny too.....

$2.00 per tooth. My son had a loose front tooth and was hit on the trampoline in the mouth,( accident) and it caused the other front tooth to start bleeding, It instantly changed colors and became loose. He lost the loose one 1st and we put the tooth in the ziploc bag and when the tooth fairy went in there to get the tooth she found two. It came out after he had went to bed. The fairy was very generous and gave $8.00 for both. Needless to say that was a week and a half ago and as I'm typing I'm looking at the money on my desk he never put up. He is 7 and doesn't really care how much it is, just finding it, that is exciting.

Depends on the tooth and what's in the wallet. Usually a crisp one dollar bill.

About a week ago, my little one lost a bottom front tooth and the smallest I had was a five dollar bill, boy that sure made someone happy!

50c, $1, $5 - whatever works for you and your little one(s).

Look up the story about the tooth fairy (named Pearl) on the internet. It's a great little story to read to your kid(s).

I usually only give .25 cents a tooth. Or .50 cents if it was taken out by the dentist (because it's a little more painful) Some people give more but my kids are happy with this.
