the first time was about a week or so ago- i was asleep in bed and heard someone yell my name. it was so startling that i instantly woke and searched my room.. noone was there.
twice today i heard a voice say my name and there was noone there those times either. i don't know if i am actually hearing it or if it is my imagination. any advice would be very helpful.

i did not recognize the voices- first one was a man, second female and third i could not tell..almost a whisper.
is it possible to become somewhat clairvoient at the age of 24? is that something you are born with?

The first occasion you describe may have been a dream, it may have been someone else where you live overheard from another room, or it may have been someone (knowingly or not) trying to contact you psychically.
What you describe today resembles a possible telepathic or psychic connection between you and someone else. Or it could be an instance of clairaudience.
Did you recognize the voice? Do you have an impression of a person that you know?

If your hearing the voices it might just be a spirit guide or guidesm of yours saying hello, and letting you know that they are there for you. you should ask them what they want, or how can you help them? Good luck with your journey.

See a psychiatrist. You are hallucinating.
Either it's the onset of mental illness, or you are extremely stressed.

If if brought you to the point of great fear it is probably a demon. When God calls it is loving and reassuring. I would pray and ask God to tell you who it is.
