Yes very much soo!
When i was a freshman in high school and i notice this girl look at me straight and then smile at me when i look back. I was like i dont even know this girl wth?!
The next day when i tried looking at her or when i walked past her she waved very excitedly and smiled at me. I was like hmmm. A few days later and she still did the same thing and she seemed to be at a place where i am. So i walked up to her and she got a shocked look at her face like surprised.
We talked and got introduce ourselves. A couple of days later i asked her out and then got hugged haha...a few weeks later she was my gf.
Try it, they dont do that unless they have a reason.
Unless she's like that to every guy then no lol

Do you mean interested in a relationship with you? I do not think so. It sounds more like an innocent and friendly gesture with no romantic overture If you want to start a romantic friendship with her, then you have to use a different approach. If not,then play it real cool so you don't make a fool of yourself. I sense and suspect that you have a hugh crush on this girl though you haven't spoken to her much in a while.Try and see what happens.
