Im a teenager, on the young side, and my boyfriend of one year broke up with me about two weeks ago. I feel broken, like i'll never be the same. Is that what happens when someone you love no longer loves you? Am I too young and naive to have been in love? I want to know what i really felt for this boy. Was it love or something else

It's always love, never forget that. What the trick is, IS THE FEELINGS YOU FELT BECAUSE OF LOVE!!! Thats the ticker, thats the part most people don't realize. So yes you loved him, I could NEVER guess what you felt, yes this is what is going to happen when you put to much hope into an individual that isn't warranted. Yes you are to young and naive because you havn't realized yet that you can love anybody, thats not the point, the points to love the RIGHT anybody, and not just settle. But never to young and naive to be in-love.

But chances are you felt great hope for this boy to be their for you, and great pride for being in a relationship, more so then you felt when he wasn't there. Which is why it HURTS so much, you don't have anything else in your life that made you FEEL as intensily as he made you feel. This technically is an extremely bad thing, becuase it shows how much you've neglected yourself, and the HOPES with yourself, before you met him. Your paying for not loving yourself, you were hoping for someone else to do it for you, no offense, most people make this mistake.... even me ;-D
