It is sad, but it is what we can expect as this world continues ever closer to the end of the age. The evil that men do is going to get worse. This strengthens my desire for the Kingdom of God to come and set up rule over this earth in truth and mercy and justice.

Yes. It's sickening. Absolutely.

However, it has no bearing on my belief in the Gods. They didn't do it, the guy who had the gun did.

Questions about how the Gods allow certain things to happen have been around for a long time. Even Homer had an answer to this:
In Book 1 of the Odyssey, Zeus says this: "It's astonishing how ready mortals are to blame the gods. It is from us, they say, that evils come, but they even by themselves, through their own blind folly, have sorrows beyond that which is ordained."

The gunman made the choice, and he is the one responsible.

Yes it does sicken me. However nothing will shake my belief in God. The quote below is from another article on it. Looks to me like it did not shake their faith.

"Everybody was scared, and we didn't know what was going on," said Belene Esaw-Kagbara, 31, a Von Maur employee. "We didn't know what to do. I was praying that God protect us."

Yes it sickens me a lot,it doesn't change any of my views against religion. But not all "non-believers are like that, he was just a f*cking psychopath who thinks he knows everything and that violence is the answer. Thanks to him now everyone is probably going to say that he did this because he wasn't christian or something.

No offense intended to anyone who might find this offensive.

It confirms my belief that my faith in God's goodness keeps me from doing a lot of the terrible things people are capable of.

Neither, and one shouldn't use this as an excuse to blame God either.

Sickens me?

Yes.

But God didn't kill these people-a man did.
