Well For One If You Can't Workout Like You Would Appreciate Then At Least You Could Have A Proper Eating Habit While Your Doin Your Work & Whatnot. Don't Destroy All Your Hard Work Or Lose Progress Because Of A Situation U Couldn't Control. So........... You Could

1) Drink All Water & Low Calorie Drinks Such As Propel, Gatorade, Powerade, & Thinks As Such. Don't Get Hundreds Of Calories Just By Liquid Intake.

2)Cut Out The Majority Of Sweets Or Salty Things That You Don't Need Because I Know Healthy Stuff Is A Little Pricey & May Not Be In Your Budget So If You Have To Eat Salty Foods Or Things As Such Just Don't Eat Large Quantities Of It. Basically If It's Not Something That " If I Don't Eat This Item Of Food(Such As Fast Food Or Something That Wouldn't Benefit Your Situation) Than It's Not No Other Option " Than Do It. But Don't Eat Stuff Like A Twix( Not Neccesary) That You Don't Have To Have.

3) You Could Also Run In Place At Your House When You Have Free Time Even If It's For 5 Min. Do Crunches, Pushups, If You Have Stairs You Could Run Up Those. U Don't Have To Have Expensive & Fancy Equipment To Stay In Shape. Until U Can Get Back In The Gym Do The Simple Stuff Just To Stay In Shape.

GOOD LUCK!

That really depends on what sport you're involved in. I know plenty of athletes that would love to be a little heavier. It also depends on how much you weigh now and how much you're eating while working out.

I think they say you have 2 weeks after working out before your fitness begins to degrade. You should try as hard as you can to stay physically active during the day and get as much sleep as you can at night. It's nothing compared to a hard work-out but it will burn more calories.

Run to and from work if you can, throw around some free wieghts at home when you get up in the morning or if you have a lunch break do some push-ups and crunches. Stretch and just keep your muscles alive and you shouldn't lose hardely anything.

a decrease in calories would be a good thing but it really depends on if you are dieting for fat loss right now. for an athlete overfeeding for several weeks can actually help to jump start the metabolic rate after a period of reduced calorie eating. it can also help the muscles, etc. to fully recover after an extended period of high intensity training.
