Yes, Its a pretty good MOS. Have a couple battles who are 92 Yanks'. It's a pretty relaxed job, good advancement opportunities, and yes, you get alot of the new technology to test before distributing. You'll probly do basic in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. And your AIT will be in Ft. Lee Virginia. As to the Active fist program, Never heard of it until now, but it wouldn't have been something i would have chose. Active duty is my thing, Signed up for 6 years, got 2 of them out of the way, and thinking of putting in my warrant officer packet and making a career out of it. But it's your career, not mine. Anyhow, Welcome to the family soldier. See you in the sandbox!

HooaH!

Supply specialists are loved and hated at the same time. Its been too long for me to comment on the enlistment plans.

But thank you for serving.

You will have a lot of stuff to keep track of. Make sure no one gets anything without signing for it first. I hope your computer skills are good, the ULLS S-4 Program will help you keep track of stuff.

As long as you are organized and keep track of things, then everything will be gravy. 92Y are everywhere, and I loved my supply dudes, they were awesome in getting us the junk that we needed (wanted, whatever)

You will be the first in the unit to get all the cool toys and you will be the one giving them out to everyone in the unit.
