I am frantically looking for a job , But i am getting dissapointed again and again . Today this lady told me ( with whom i was supposed to have an interview ) that i dn' thave enough sales experience..

Day before yesterday i had another interview, where the employer told me , that he will keep me in file . and to keep calling him and bothering him , if there is any opening.
and that he's just starting up ...

I dn't know. But every time someone tells me , something negative like this , i get very disappointed. I am feeling very down rt now . I dn't even feel like applying for another job . ( eventhough my car payment and insurance payments are past due , already ) .

. What should I do ?

Just keep sending in resumes hun. I went through that about two mos ago....now I have the job from hell. Don't push it your way into a job, let it find you. Don't get down on yourself!

It sometimes takes people months and literally dozens of interviews to find a good fit. It all depends on your skills and level of experience. But also remember that you only have a few minutes to make a good impression, and many people are hired based on the interview not on their resume.
One thing you should do is research the companies that you interview with. If they think you are genuinely interested in working for them it makes more of an impression than if they think you are just beating the pavement.
Why don't you get a friend or a career counselor to coach you on the interview process. Develop a list of questions and answers and let them evaluate how they feel as you are interveiwed. You could also interview at some places where you really don't want to work, just for practice without feeling let down if they don't hire you.
Apply with a temp agency if you are desperate to find work, go to job fairs in your area, maybe even volunteer someplace...if they see you are willing to work they might hire you.

I truly understand your pain. I have been out of work for 6 months. My credit is whack, husband just got laid off from his job of 21 years and we having a rough time. I feel like I am being discriminated against. I need new job skills. But, everything costs money. I'll keep you in my prayers. But, all you can do is just keep on sending out resumes. Cause one thing is for sure, "quitters never win". God knows, cause I sure am the comeback kid.
