What does it mean when a girl tells you she has a suiter?
I'm a filipino from the states and met a girl from PI that I'm interested in? She tells me she has a suiter and he is courting her. Sometimes her actions seems like she's interested in me but I want to respect her wishes cause she feels like she's cheating on her suiter. Does suiter mean dating? she's says it's in the beginning stages and does not consider him her boyfriend. I'm confused and I want to know if it's worth it chasing this girl. My heart tells me yes, but I feel like I'm just gonna get crushed in the end. Can a girl have more than one suiter and courted by many?

Having a suitor or being courted is an old-school way for a lady to say that she is dating someone..
Back in the 1700s/1800s, a desireable (AKA rich) young lady could have many suitors, but it was up to her father to choose the best one for her.
You should ask her how she feels about you
